Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding on 30th December, 1986 in Hereford, England) is a English singer-songwriter. Ellie Goulding, a British singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2010, when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed caught public attention. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her soprano voice and the capacity to create catchy and emotionally sincere songs puts her at the forefront for popular music of the present as well as an independent and artful pop. Polydor Records signed her to a record label deal and she began preparing for the launch of her debut album.
