Summer glau

Her popularity was because she was the lead actress in Whedon's next TV hit, Firefly. Summer Glau's River Tam was a complicated character which Glau was able to handle with ease. In the role of Tam, the character was required to participate in government research where she was trained to be the ultimate assassin. Tam's ability to manage emotions is taken from her. Glau demonstrated her fighting ability as well as her acting talents on Firefly. The training she received as an assassin provided her with the opportunity to use every aspect of her athletic ability. Summer Glau is a classically trained ballerina. Her broken toe but it was her broken toe that brought an end to her dance career. Firefly only lasted one season, but the show garnered a large audience. This was so intense that Whedon went back to it just a couple of years after. Summer Glau, however, continued to receive quality work.
