Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the United States for the past forty years. Her most well-known role is because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). In the 1950s, she started her acting career on stage in Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Then she appeared in numerous Broadway performances before she was an international star together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. The same year, She recorded her first album, It's time for Tina. Louise was first seen as a performer in Hollywood as God's Little Acre, a film released in 1958. She was Griselda who was a character from the movie. In New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her friendship with Lee Strasberg. She signed on with CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work with ease between Broadway TV and Hollywood acting in somber roles contrasted to her perception of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she has also become a renowned director for popular TV shows such as Supernatural and The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28 on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family then relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. When she was selected in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living in Vancouver ever since.
