She is one of the most well-known athletes in American the history of sports. Only six women have won every one of the five World Cup alpine ski events. She has taken home an impressive 82 World Cup titles in all. World-class athlete and one of the most successful ski racers have made the decision to quit after the World Championships that take place in Sweden. Numerous health issues caused this Four-time World Cup Overall Champion to choose to quit her job. Her retirement was announced via social media.
