Adelaide Clemens

Brisbane, Australia is where I was born and brought up. Daughter of an English father. Clemens began her career as a host on Australian television when she was still at high school. She appeared in the role of Juliet on an episode of Blue Water High in 2006 and starred as Alison as part of The Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji children's television show in 2007. Clemens received nominations at the Logie Awards in 2008 for her role as Harper in the Showtime drama Love My Way. She was awarded the Graham Kennedy Award and the award in the category of Most Outstanding New Talent. Clemens starred in Dream Life (2008), a dramatic MTV Networks Australia film. It featured Sigrid Thornton Xavier and Samuel Linda Cropper Andrew McFarlane. In 2009, she became the model for Jan Logan's Jewelry. Clemens moved to Los Angeles California. Clemens played the role in the role of Xandrie (Wasted on the Young) in the movie Wasted on the Young. In 2012 Clemens played Camilla Dickinson along with Gregg Sulkin, Cary Elwes and Samantha Mathis. The drama was an adaptation from the 1951 novel the same title by young adult novelist Madeleine L'Engle.She played the role of a teenage Heather Mason in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. The film is a follow-up to Silent Hill. The movie is based on that of the Silent Hill 3 video survival horror. Clemens had her first film role in the 2012 horror film No One Lives with Luke Evans. Also, she was in 2013's film The Great Gatsby based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel of the same title. Catherine Wilson was Isla's mother. Clemens plays Tawney Talbot who was the protagonist of Ray McKinnon's 2013 Sundance Channel TV miniseries Rectify.
