Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and author who won several awards. Her movies comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). Growing up in a family of artists located in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of arts. After working as an assistant to photographers She turned her focus to acting and modeling. Her name was highlighted in her two first films and received Golden Globe Award for Most Popular newcomer. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought her fame worldwide in addition to being as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. Within three years, she was named the top female box office starter in the world. Her handprints and signatures were recorded at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw was married three times.
